The material is called plastic or vinyl which is waterproof and will not rip or tear when worn. All Plastic bracelets use waterproof inks. Each bracelet has a one-time locking snap that is not reusable. If someone attempts to transfer the wristband, the snap will be in a way that prevents re-use.
